automatic motor that starts and stops depending on the manual pressure
exerted by the user. It has two bi-directional cones depending on the
fruit sizes. The CJ01 comes with a 1 liter pitcher that is big enough
for several servings. A dust cover will help preserve the juice while
it is kept in the fridge. This model can be cleaned manually and is
also dishwasher-safe. The CitrusMate CJ01 comes with a full, one year
warranty in the US and Canada.
- The next is the CitrusMate Plus that comes in another model, the CJ500-525. The CitrusMate Plus is a budget electric citrus press, where a liter's worth of fresh and healthy juice can be prepared and served in a few minutes. These models also comes in two different sized cones to handle different sized fruits and vegetables. The CJ525 has three pulp control settings (light, medium, heavy). It has a good strainer to prevent seeds from going into the juice.
The CitrusMate Plus continues to receive very good ratings from many reviews. It is inexpensive and functional that makes it available for those budget-conscious shoppers. The CitrusMate Pro is easy to clean because it is made up of very few parts that putting it apart, cleaning and assembling it again will take only a few minutes. The serving pitcher has a large pout that also looks good when serving it immediately straight out of the juicer.
Some reviews have pointed out that Black & Decker juicers seem underpowered. Although it is particularly common similar citrus juicers in the market. One reason is that there is too much pressure put into the fruit. Gentle pressing does the job though. The problem is not in the juicer but how the juicer is operated.
