In the mastication process, the juicer, in this case, Champion, chews the fibers and breaks up the cells of fruits and vegetables. This results in more fiber, vitamins, enzymes and trace minerals every time your use it. The resulting juice is darker, richer in color and sweeter and more full-bodied flavor.
You get more value out of every juice because the darker the color, more pigments are extracted. This is the difference between a conventionally powered, centrifugal juicer with the mastication process done through Champion juicers-where you get more fiber and nutrients.
Champion juicers use a simple design. It has a large feeding chamber (1 3/4 in diameter) that is able to take in large cut vegetables and fruits.
The juicing bowl is specifically designed for the Champion. It also doubles as a 1-quart measuring cup.
A floating cutter slides on or off the shaft and separates the juice from the pulp in a continuous operation. Removal is as easy, just do a quick half-turn and the body locks on or releases for removal and cleaning. In addition to its juicing function, it can also extract coconut milk, fruit sauces, peanut butters, etc., this proves the versatility of the Champion.
Plastaket powered the Champion with a General Electric 1/3-horsepower motor that is built to last. Every Champion has a special stainless steel lining and does not hold any odor. The parts that compose it, like nylon and steel are FDA accepted. The Champion comes in 220 and 240-volt versions for overseas users. A heavy-duty commercial model is available. It is powered by a 650 watt motor compared to the household 540 watt model. An optional attachment turns your juicer into an instant grain mill. You can now make your own flour, coffee and other dried grain products.
