Champion 2000 Juicer Review

With the high prices of food these days, a good juicer can be a great investment. One of the best out there in the consumer model range is the Champion 2000 Juicer. While some juicers can only really tackle one thing effectively, this juicer can be used with any number of fruits and vegetables, and can produce sauces, purees, even baby food!

Champion 2000 Juicer Specifications

  • 10 Year Limited Warranty
  • All parts are 100% FDA nylon and stainless steel.
  • Weight: 26 pounds
  • 10″ High x 17″ Wide x 7″ Deep
  • Household: 540 Watts
  • Commercial: 650 Watts

The Champion 2000 juicer comes in 2 different types: as a household juicer and as a commercial juicer.

The only real difference between the two is the power of the motor which is 110 Watts higher in the commercial version.

The Champion Juicer is the answer to every juicing problem. It chews the fibers and breaks up the cells of vegetables and fruits. This gives you more fiber, enzymes, vitamins and trace minerals.  All results in the darker, richer color of the juice and a sweeter, richer more full-bodied flavor.

One great thing about the Champion 2000 Juicer is that it is so flexible. You can make fresh baby food, peanut butter, ice cream…the list goes on!  With all these areas covered, you can see why the Champion Juicer remains to be one of the most popular on the market.

Advantages

Champion is simple, versatile and durable to use. Designed by its simplicity, the Champion 2000 Juicer doesn’t require nuts, bolts, screws or clamps to assemble. The floating cutter just slides on or off the shaft; a quick half-turn and the body locks on or releases for removal. It’s so simple and all the parts are easy to clean.

Disadvantages

As with other juicers, having the rapid speed means heat and air is introduced into the juice – this reduces the shelf life of the juice. It is not as efficient at extracting juice and nutrients as masticating and twin gear juicers. Juice can be frothy compared to other methods of juice extraction.

Further, the Champion 2000 Juicer is a bit noisy since the high speed required to generate the centrifugal force and eject the pulp means that the motor noise is the loudest of all juicer types. Take note: it is not capable of juicing wheatgrass or leafy greens.

Conclusion

For what makes Champion… a champion? With the quality, versatility and durability, this Champion 2000 Juicer is a winner in all aspects. Advantages clearly outweigh the disadvantages. Thus, I can recommend the Champion Juicer 2000+ mainly because of its trustworthiness in performance.

Other juicers may be more versatile (can juice wheatgrass and leafy greens) and more silent, but only a few brands are known for sustainability and efficiency. This is what makes the Champion juicer a sensible juicer, if you are not specifically into juicing wheatgrass and leafy greens.
