The Omega 1000 Juicer is built the same as the Omega 500. The only difference is the Omega 1000 has a stainless steel bowl instead of a plastic one. It is a centrifugal juice extractor.

Omega has built their juicers with the same basic style for over 40 years. Omega 1000 has 1/3 Horsepower 6200 Rpm, 250 Watt General Electric Induction Motor just like the other models of Omega Juicer. This motor is made to last for more than 15 years.
Omega 1000 Juicer‘s stainless parts are comprised of a heavy gauge Surgical Stainless Steel. All of the Stainless parts are either polished or sandblasted to make the unit look nice and at the same time make it easy to clean. The basket is hand balanced to achieve virtually no vibration while juicing a wide variety of fruits and vegetables. The Basket is very open so cleaning won’t be a problem. The large Stainless Steel Bowl is polished on the outside to a mirror like finish. The inside has a sandblasted finish.
Omega 1000 Juicer has a little white knob that holds the blade
in place is called the Spring Clutch Nut. This Spring Clutch Nut allows the blade to float. It only has to be put on finger tight. No tools are needed to change or clean this system. The lid is transparent with a dark tint so you can actually watch the machine juice. It also includes an optional citrus juicing attachment.
Compared to other juicers, Omega 1000 has a very powerful motor but makes very little vibration when in use. It is because the stainless steel blade has little feet that help the blade float thus making only little vibrations when you push down fruits or vegetables.
