My most recent investment, yes it’s quite expensive, is the Vitamix 5000 blender. It took me a while to get this blender because of its steep price. Nevertheless, I am not disappointed by its performance, versatility, and durability – which make it all worth every penny.
It pulverizes any seed in the fruit. And when I need crushed ice, I just put in the big chunks, turn it on and in seconds, I have crushed ice for my smoothie.

The VitaMix goes a long way, some of my friends have 5 year old VitaMix blenders that still works like new. Some also look for refurbished Vita mix 5000 juicers just to get some discount on the price. That’s how juicing fans, moms and health enthusiasts love this product!
Advantages
Having a smoothie for breakfast gives me a good start. With my VitaMix, I get to have a nutritious and delicious smoothie to start and energize my day. Not only is my VitaMix limited to my smoothie making, it also does a good job pureeing, making crumbs and making ice cream.
This is possible thru it its adjustable speed. And the best part, it’s so easy to clean. It only takes a drop of detergent and voila! The VitaMix spins to clean!
Disadvantages
Its size is a hindrance. It may not fit in some kitchen cabinets. It didn’t in mine so I just placed it on my counter top. The biggest downside of this appliance is that it’s very EXPENSIVE!
Conclusion
The VitaMix might require more cash out but the nutrition you get and the performance it delivers is worth it. It may take a lot of space on your counter top but it doesn’t matter because it gives you the healthy food and convenience of preparing your food at a maximum level. Maintenance and clean has never been this easy with the VitaMix.
Its durability is outstanding! I have friends who have longer relationships with their VitaMix juicers than with other human beings. The drawback of this kitchen appliance does not in any way, outweigh its performance.
I am very much satisfied with my VitaMix 5000 and I would highly recommend it. So if you have the money and space on your kitchen counter don’t waste time, go get a VitaMix. If you don’t, save up for this appliance and make space on you counter.

The Vitamix Blender 4500 container is also BPA free. Currently, it is still available for order online and is quite a bargain when compared to the newer Vitamix super 5000 blender and the 5200 models.
